Professional diagnosis for tripping circuits, dead sockets, intermittent faults and other electrical problems.
Quick answer
Electrical fault finding uses testing and inspection to locate the cause of problems such as tripping circuits, loss of power, dead sockets, faulty lighting or intermittent operation. We explain what we find, make the situation safe where necessary and discuss repair options before additional work proceeds.
01
Electrical faults can be intermittent or hidden. Useful details about when and how the issue occurs can shorten the diagnostic process.
02
We discuss the symptoms, inspect the relevant installation and test methodically. If the issue can be repaired safely within the agreed visit, we will explain the work and costs. Larger or unforeseen remedial work is quoted separately.
03
The standard minimum charge is £85 for the first hour. Additional investigation is charged at the applicable labour rate. If priority same-day attendance requires existing diary arrangements to be changed, the £130-per-hour rate may apply and will be agreed before attendance.
